Using curiosity as a guiding principle, designer Elvira van der Ploeg is inspired by the world around her. Immersing herself with Art, craft, travels and stories. With a fond love for the 70’s, movies, esoteric practices and just the magic of everyday life. When designing spaces Elvira is telling a story. Her intuition guiding the designs establishing a balance between the practical and the whimsical. When designing we aim for a beautiful harmony of colour and texture, vintage and bespoke, unique and personal. The stories are even more elaborated when designing hospitality spaces; from branding to service related ideas. Elvira embraces the unexpected whilst keeping in mind that a space needs to feel warm, inviting, comforting, riveting and enchanting.

About Elvira
Whether designing a space, creating a setting or styling a composition and capturing it, Elvira works her magic guided by intuition. Across her creative endeavors, she is fueled by her love for story telling, setting a mood and creating with intention. she transforms a feeling into matter.
Besides being an interior designer Elvira pours her energy in creating Art with her hands resulting in the project Floratypes where she uses real flowers to make new species.
